The short version
- No cookies, no ad networks, no tracking across other websites.
- We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which is anonymous and does not identify you.
- We only have your email address if you sign up for the newsletter or submit a tool.

Visitor statistics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to see which pages are read, so we know which tools and pages are useful. It does not use cookies and does not store anything on your device. For each page view it records:
- the page address and the site you came from,
- your approximate location (country and city),
- your browser, operating system and device type, and the time of the visit.
To count unique visitors, Vercel builds a hash from the incoming request and discards it after 24 hours. We only see totals, never individual visitors, and the data is not used to follow you across other websites. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding, in aggregate, how the site is used (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Like any web server, Vercel processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver pages and to protect the site against attacks. This is necessary to run the website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Vercel acts as our processor.
Newsletter
If you sign up, we store your email address with our newsletter provider, Beehiiv, so we can send you the newsletter. Beehiiv may also record whether emails are opened or clicked. Our legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing withdraws your consent.
Submitting a tool
If you submit a tool on /submit, we receive the details you enter, including your email address. They are stored as a private review item in our code repository on GitHub, which only we can see, so we can review the tool and tell you when it is live. Your email address is never published. Our legal basis is your request (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). We delete submissions we do not publish within 12 months; ask us any time to delete yours sooner.
Partner links
Some "Visit" links in the directory are affiliate links (see How we make money). When you click one, you leave our site and the partner may record that you came from us, usually with a cookie on their own website. That is covered by the partner's privacy policy. We do not receive your name or contact details from partners, only totals such as the number of sign-ups.
Hidden fee calculator
The hidden fee calculator runs in your browser. The amounts you type are not sent to us. To show the mid-market rate, our server asks Frankfurter for the exchange rate of the two currencies you picked; your IP address is not passed on.
Other services
Fonts are hosted on our own server, so loading a page does not contact Google or any other font service. Vercel, Beehiiv and GitHub are based in the United States. Transfers of personal data there rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can object to or restrict how we use it. Email privacy@nxtgenfin.tech. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live or work.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
